Howdy and welcome to ETOHing!

My name is Zoe, and I am the person behind ETOHing.

I originally had the idea while talking with my husband, Marko. You can read all about the ETOHing name under The Name page. My husband and I love to cook, and we have the personal philosophy that you should enjoy what you eat. In many recipes with alcohol, many times there are sugars added without flavors being introduced or enhanced. In my opinion, that’s a waste of a treat.

My husband is an IT specialist and I am a nurse by profession. We both love to cook, eat, and try all sorts of other flavors. I especially became interested in how alcohol was integrated into foods and the dining experience. The new revolution of craft/local alcohols and development of new flavors has made me wonder how to cook with them.

This blog will only have my opinion, and any recipe can be altered by you for your dietary needs. My opinions do not reflect any companies or organizations I work for or participate in, and I do not represent any companies or organizations in these posts or this blog.
